Libya: Misratah - Under siege and under fire

The 300,000 residents of Misratah, Libya's third largest city have been living under siege and under fire since March 2011. This report highlights cases of civilian casualties as a result of reckless and indiscriminate attacks by Colonel al-Gaddafi's forces; the use of cluster bombs; the deliberate use of civilians as 'human shields'; and the plight of foreign nationals trapped by the fighting.
