Amnesty UK and PRCBC letter to Lord Moylan on Government response to nationality law amendments to Government Immigration Bill HL 133

On 15 June 2023, Amnesty and the Project for the Registration of Children as British Citizens (PRCBC) wrote to Lord Moylan, and all peers who had participated in debate on 12 June 2023 on amendments to the Government's Immigration Bill (entitled 'Illegal Migration Bill') concerning nationality rights. Our letter addressed errors and inconsistencies in the Government analysis underpinning provisions of this Bill to exclude British nationality rights, such errors and inconsistencies being revealed by the Minister's response in the debate.
