Amnesty International UK & PRCBC "British citizenship" briefing for House of Lords Committee on Government HL Bill 133

Amnesty International UK and the Project for the Registration of Children as British Citizens (PRCBC) have jointly produced this briefing for House of Lords' Committee consideration of Government HL Bill 133, specifically in relation to Amendments 98B and 98C (and related amendments). The briefing addresses the impact of this Bill upon British children; upon their rights to British citizenship; and upon the citizenship of the United Kingdom more generally.

The briefing sets out the profound harm this bill will do to British children by arbitrarily depriving them of their rights to British citizenship - because of what someone else has done in sending or bringing these children to the UK, including where that was done to exploit them.
