Amnesty International UK briefing for House of Commons Consideration of Lords Amendments

This Briefing sets out Amnesty International's on this Bill and the stage it has reached. The Bill can now only be amended on the matters that have changed in the Lords; so unless the two Houses cannot reach an agreement or Ministers withdraw the Bill, it is now set on most of its content.

Amnesty International would urge Ministers to withdraw it, but at a minimum we invite MPs to do the minimum that they can, which is accept the Lords' amendments. In this briefing we identify three amendments which it is most important should be retained.
