UK: Reaction to release of 'C' from Woodhill Prison
"This manâ€™s release only underscores the arbitrariness and secretive nature of the draconian measures currently being used to detain people without charge in this country.
"What we need to see now is a scrapping of the Belmarsh system of detention as well as the envisaged control orders.
"Weâ€™ve been saying that the Home Secretary should show some faith in the justice system. He should listen to his critics and return to a system where suspected wrongdoers are charged, fairly tried and if found guilty imprisoned."
