Israel/OT: 'Stop The Killing' Global Speakers Tour and Rally in London

The tour will start with a Public Rally in London on Tuesday 18 June 2002, and will proceed to Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, the USA and Canada.

'While the political debate rages about the security of Israel and the liberation of Palestine, the reality is that on both sides ordinary people are paying a heavy price for the escalating violence,' said Amnesty International.

Through the testimonies of both Palestinian and Israeli parents and other family members who lost one of their loved ones in an attack on civilians, they will show how they used their grief to build a platform for peace rather than as a tool for hatred.

Amnesty International's global speakers tour aims to demonstrate the human dimension of the ongoing conflict and bring human rights to the forefront of the debate.
