'Bid For Freedom' art auction

The work may be viewed and bids made at www.art4amnesty.co.uk or during its exhibition at the Shrewsbury Art Gallery from 1-12 May 2001. Journalists are welcome at the preview evening on April 28th 2001.

The auction of the 40 donated pieces will take place at 7.30pm on 12 May 2001 at the gallery. The 'Bid for freedom' exhibition and auction is being held to mark the 40th anniversary of Amnesty International in aid of their work.
