Amnesty International UK wants to inspire and mobilise more people with its message of freedom, justice and equality. To do this, we are searching for a Supporter Communications Officer who can deliver excellent customer service to our supporters and members.
 

About the role

Working within the dedicated supporter communications team, you will respond to correspondence from Amnesty supporters, activists and the general public, on a wide range of human rights topics. You will be accountable for maintaining supporter records ensuring that information held is both accurate, up-to-date and GDPR compliant. You will also be required to process and bank supporter income, therefore an understanding of key financial processes including direct debits and gift aid is essential. 
 

About you

With a passion for human rights, you’ll have experience of successfully working in a customer service environment and will need to have a methodical and efficient approach to your workload and be able to multi-task. You must have an appreciation for the importance of Supporter Communications and strong communication skills via telephone, e-mail, post or social media, while adhering to fundraising regulations, legal charity guidelines and internal AIUK policies.
