Who were looking for:

  • Strong knowledge and experience of issues faced by individuals and communities minoritised by their gender, sex or sexuality.
  • Experience, understanding and enthusiasm for social media and online campaigning
  • A strong commitment to Human Rights, and to activism to extend and guarantee access to all rights for all people
  • Experience developing and delivering campaigns or building networks is an advantage, though full training will be available
  • A person who is able to represent Amnesty International while maintaining policy positions, political neutrality and non-violent approaches
  • A time commitment of (approximately) 5-7 hours a week, although this is flexible

 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Your responsibilities can vary hugely depending on your interest and skills. We are looking for committee members at an exciting time, ahead of a network re-branding and new campaign launches. Whether your interest is in research, leading campaigning, social media, advocacy, organising, public speaking, press work or a huge host of other things - we want to hear from you.
