Amnesty International UK wants to inspire and mobilise more people with its message of freedom, justice and equality. To do this, we are searching for a ‘Campaign Manager – Northern Ireland’ who can devise, develop, manage and deliver effective human rights campaigns which deliver real human rights change and impact.

About the role

This is a senior position, with responsibility for managing specific campaigns in the Northern Ireland office of the Amnesty UK section. You will be responsible for leading on campaign-specific litigation; designing and implementing effective campaign strategies; managing and developing AIUK’s relationships with key political contacts, managing media and digital strategies, acting as a media spokesperson on a range of campaign issues .
 

About you

You will have strong experience of successfully planning and managing campaigns, holding and managing constructive relationships with high-level political actors and institutions, external stakeholders and the media in Northern Ireland and at UK level.

Your strong communication and advocacy skills will allow you to persuade the public and politicians alike to take a stand for human rights.

You will have a strong understanding of the human rights challenges we face and be ready to tackle these through innovative and compelling approaches.
