Amnesty's activist led Anti-Racism Network is recruiting committee members to lead on building the network's campaigning, presence and education work.
We are recruiting for multiple new committee members to join the Anti-Racism Network. We are looking for committed individuals who have a passion for justice and equality and are open to learning new skills and leading our anti-racism movement.
Committee members work alongside Amnesty UK staff and our other activists, as well as external organisations and groups, to run campaigns, put on events and organise on a range of human rights issues both globally and domestically.
We are action-oriented doers! From “Know Your Rights” training on Prevent to build coalitions of resistance, to attending local community festivals to build relationships around the UK, eveything we do is with the aim of tackling racism in the UK and beyond.
We have been focussing on our Scrap Prevent campaign - working with grassroots groups across the country to build opposition from the bottom up to leverage the government with.
We have also been attending festivals throughout the summer to do outreach and spread our actions and messages far and wide.
We are starting to do more international solidarity work - running blocs on the Ceasefire Now protests and campaigning in support of indigenous women’s rights in Bangladesh - and we’re looking to do more!
Does this sound up your street? Apply to join the committee now!
We're excited to hear from you - please submit your application here, through our online form.
