Are you interested in Amnesty International UK’s Section’s governance? We are looking for a Chairperson for our 2021 Annual General Meeting (AGM) and National Conference. 

The Chair is responsible for making sure that the business of the AGM is conducted in an efficient and orderly way. It’s the most important role at the AGM but they get lots of support from the Standing Orders Committee and our staff.

The Chair presides over the business of the AGM and Extraordinary General Meetings (EGMs) and is elected annually subject to a limit of three consecutive years. Experience of chairing large meetings is essential. 

There is one AGM Chair role up for election in 2020.
