Help end human rights abuses in Sudan

On 3 June, 10,000 soldiers attacked peaceful protesters with live ammunition, tear gas, whips and sticks. Over 100 men and women were killed and hundreds more were injured.

Government forces are inflicting terror on families in Sudan. The people hoped for an end to dictatorship and military rule - but the situation has only worsened.

The Sudanese people are still reeling in shock at the savagery of this recent attack. But they remain determined.

Your monthly gift could help us pressure the Sudanese authorities to end this crisis, and fight human rights abuses around the world.

      Why donate to Amnesty International?

People like you help us to send our investigators into the most dangerous areas of the world and collect first-hand stories from survivors and key witnesses. Their testimonies and the graphic evidence we gather are vital to expose violations of international humanitarian law.

Armed with this evidence, we lobby governments to act and mobilise people around the world to campaign for rights to be respected and violations to cease – and this has proved to create long term change and save lives time and time again.

Become part of our movement of over seven million ordinary people from around the world standing up for humanity and human rights. Together we can amplify the voices of people whose suffering would otherwise go unheard.

Please give a monthly gift to Amnesty International UK today and help end human rights abuses like those in Sudan.

All donations go to the charitable trust.
