The Children's Human Rights Network is an activist led group of over 7,500 - steered by a committee of up to 12 people.

The Network is run by activists all over the UK who aim to drive forward change on Children's Human Rights issues, in the UK and around the world. One third of committee places are reserved for under 18s as we believe there is so much young voices can contribute to the area of Children's Rights.

Being a part of the Children’s Human Rights Network is an incredible opportunity to work with the huge and very supportive structure of Amnesty UK which enables you to pursue action on causes that matter to you.

How do I apply to join The Children's Human Rights Network?

We are always looking to uplift and inspire other young voices for the Children’s Rights cause. Currently, we are hoping to find new members of our committee – we want to hear from a variety of voices championing children's right - young people, those with expertise in children’s rights, teachers - who are keen to take initiative and grow their skills as a campaigner.

The network are currently working on our own network-led campaign to ensure access by all children and young people to Human Rights Education in schools. Alongside this, we are also supporting the amnesty campaign to Scrap the Prevent duty because of its impact in undermining children’s rights.
