Books for Amnesty Edinburgh
We are delighted to announce the reopening of our Roseneath Street bookshop. Thank you for
your patience whilst we have been getting everything ready – we look forward to seeing you soon.
You can find our new regular opening days and times below, though please be aware that these may vary from week to week for the foreseeable future while we work to get fully up and running again and we will keep them updated on this page. If you are making a special journey to the shop, please ring ahead to check that we are definitely open.
Please contact us on 0131 221 1596 to book an appointment if you are planning to bring a large donation to us. If your donation is small enough to be carried by a single person, i.e. two bags or a single box of books or less, then we are happy to receive it without an appointment. For everyone’s safety, all donations will be quarantined for 48 hours. Please also note that we are now no longer able to accept donations of the following items: DVDs/Blu Ray discs, CDs, and vinyl records. As ever, please do not leave donations outside the shop.
In order to enable physical distancing, we can only admit six customers to the shop at any one
time, and a physically distanced queuing system will be in place outside the shop.

Donate: Got records you haven’t listened to for years? Or books you’re no longer reading? Don't put them in the attic, bring them down to the shop and donate to support human rights. We also accept CDs and DVDs.
