Recent blog entries on Human Rights!

Trawling through recent blog entries on this site I have found some that relate to human rights.

See Almansori's blog on the criticism of Libya by Human Rights Watch, for the detention of 330 prisoners without legal basis.

Shao Jiang writes about Charter 08 and the case of Liu Xiaobo.  He says that there have been more signatories to Charter 08 since the trial.  I have also written on my blog about Liu Xiaobo.  You can find other blog entries by Shao Jiang with more comment about this case and about human rights in China.  Shao Jiang was one of the leaders of peaceful protests and witnessed the massacre in Tiananmen Square in Beijing.  He was a prisoner of conscience and now lives in exile.
