Send a solidarity message to Chow Hang-tung – take action now!

Chow Hang-tung is a fearless activist who's been jailed for speaking up for human rights and democracy in Hong Kong. She’s in prison under the brutal National Security Law. Her only "crime" is fighting for human rights and preserving the memory of a brutal government suppression.
“THE STATE CAN LOCK UP PEOPLE BUT NOT THEIR THINKING” - Chow Hang-tung
Chow Hang-tung is an ordinary person who’s risked everything for what’s right.
Now she needs us to stand with her.
Your words of support will remind her - and the Hong Kong authorities - that she is not forgotten.
We cannot let this crackdown on free speech and activism go unchecked.
In solidarity we stand.
Every message you send is a direct act of resistance.
Chow Hang-tung is a Hong Kong activist and lawyer facing a potential life prison sentence. Lawyer Chow Hang-tung is a former leader of the Hong Kong Alliance , which disbanded after authorities used the annual Tiananmen candlelight vigil it had organised for 30 years as evidence of the group “endangering national security”. Along with other members of the group, Chow Hang-tung was charged with “inciting subversion” under Hong Kong’s National Security Law. She has been detained for nearly 4 years pending trial simply for holding a space for dissent and preserving memory of those who paid with their lives in the Tiananmen crackdown. The national security law imposed by Beijing in 2020 has locked up countless activists, stifled the media, and forced over 100 organizations to shut down. Chow Hang-tung is just one of the brave individuals prosecuted by this law. Even worse, this national security law is extraterritorial, meaning it can be used to target any Hong Kong activist in any country, including those in the UK.
