Maisie Richardson-Sellers is a British Guyanese actor, filmmaker, and committed activist whose work bridges art and social change. She has starred in a wide range of film and television projects, including The Originals, Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, and uses her creative voice to spotlight issues of injustice and inequality.

Maisie is committed to weaving art and activism together to raise awareness and drive impactful change. She is the founder of Barefaced Productions, a company dedicated to uplifting and amplifying marginalised voices both on screen and behind the camera.

Maisie became an Ambassador for Amnesty International UK in June 2025, building on her longstanding support for the organisation and her advocacy for gender justice, racial justice, and migrant rights.
