We receive regular donations of both new and second-hand books, keeping our shelves constantly refreshed with exciting new and some not-so-new (and a few rare) titles! We have an eclectic mix of non-fiction both old and current, including a creative writing section, as well as an impressive history and political selection. If it's something less taxing you want, our bays of contemporary fiction are bursting with titles sure to please your taste.

We also have a great range of greetings cards all year, and ethically sourced gifts especially at Christmas.

We are always looking for people to join our volunteer team. If you want to learn more there is a bit more about volunteering in Amnesty bookshops here,  to find out about the vacancies we have email newcastlebookshop@amnesty.org.uk or pop in for a chat.
