Amnesty International UK, PRCBC & CCLC "Citizenship" briefing for House of Commons Committee on Government Bill 262

Amnesty International UK, the Project for the Registration of Children as British Citizens (PRCBC) and Coram Children's Legal Centre (CCLC) have jointly produced this briefing for House of Commons Committee on Government Bill 262 to address the impact of this Bill upon British people; upon their rights to British citizenship; and upon the citizenship of the United Kingdom more generally.

The briefing sets out the profound harm this bill will do to British people, including many British children, by arbitrarily depriving them of their rights to British citizenship - because of what someone else has done, including what that person has done to these British children. It also sets out the profound harm this will do to British citizenship (the citizenship of the United Kingdom).
