Water Pistol play in the park threatens the foundations of the Iranian regime!

Posted

This is Iran, where every enjoyable activity either in the public or in private is considered a "threat to the national security" and forbidden. According to the Guardian and other media, a group of youth organised a water pistol feast in the park of "Water and Fire" in Tehran in the unbearable heat of summer. This, like any other social activity could not be tolerated by the gorvernment of fundamentalists who keep a grip on every move in Iran in fear of opposition.

The park was raided and scores of the youth, boys and girls though continued to play under the threats from the guards, were finally detained and paraded on the TV. A debate started in the parliament and across the town and the fundamentalists agitated at their failure to turn Iran into a Taliban state spoke of the hands of "Satan" and the battle goes on.
