By examining a beautifully drawn street scene showing human rights in practice, pupils can investigate and understand how rights apply to everyday life.
Through group and class discussion, pupils then familiarise themselves with the rights set out in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and their meaning, and identify rights being enjoyed, denied and demanded.
