Mining firms and human rights abuses in Colombia.

Please read my latest piece published by the Sunday Mail newspaper on 11th November 2012. The article highlights a new report which exposes how the rapid expansion of mining in Colombia has resulted in enivironmental disaster, unlawful killings and millions forced from their homes.

Here's a link to the full report which was written by ABColombia, an advocacy project for five charities who work on the ground in Colombia to support people affected by mining. They are - Scottish Catholic International Aid Fund (SCIAF), CAFOD, Christian Aid, Oxfam GB and Trocaire.
