In November 2025, AIUK and Migrant Voice made this submission to the Home Affairs Committee for its inquiry on Routes to Settlement.
The submission provides critical analysis of the Government's proposals for 'earned settlement', A Fairer Pathway to Settlement.
In summary, we conclude the proposals would, if implemented, cause injustice, obstruct integration, exacerbate social division and create inefficiency and dysfunction.
