GREECE: Amnesty reaction to ongoing refugee march

Gauri van Gulik, Amnesty International’s Deputy Director for Europe and Central Asia, said:

“With people stuck in the mud for days with no hope, it’s no wonder that in their desperation they are looking for other ways out. The situation in Idomeni will only get worse until refugees are able to move from Greece in a safe and organized way to other countries in Europe where they can find the protection they so urgently need.”
