Amnesty UK Submission to APPG on Refugees re Refugees Welcome

This submission to an APPG inquiry concerning refugee integration briefly addresses four matters: (i) proposals for a two-tier asylum system, (ii) family reunion, (iii) settled status (indefinite leave to remain), and (iv) wider immigration policy (the 'hostile environment').

This submission aims to emphasise the need for a perspective that recognises integration as a thing to be achieved within and among communities rather than something to be done by or to refugees.
