AIUK submission to Justice and Home Affairs Committee inquiry on Settlement, Citizenship and Integration

Overview

This AIUK submission to the Justice and Home Affairs Committee's inquiry on Settlement, Citizenship and Integration provides critical analysis of the Government's 'earned settlement' proposals, A Fairer Pathway to Settlement.

The submission draws attention to how these proposals would, if implemented, undermine integration, exacerbate social division, cause dysfunction and inefficiency, achieve serious injustice, and incur greater costs to public finances.
