Afghanistan: Surrender must comply with the laws of war

Amnesty International said:

'Appropriate arrangements for the processing and protection of fighters who have surrendered must be made this time. The International Committee of the Red Cross should be allowed to perform its role, to ensure that people are properly protected.'
