FacebookWhen we meet
Meetings are held on the 4th Thursday of the month at the Bournville Friends Meeting House from 7.30 to 9 pm on 65 Linden Road, Bournville, B30 1JT (this is not an office and we can be contacted there ONLY during meeting times)
We currently campaign on Palestine and Kashmir, with special attention to "Oppressed people" and other Central England network and activists led initiatives, such as the AI UN Network.
We maintain close contact with other local groups, in particular Birmingham Central, Wythall and the B12/13/14 group. We are also very involved in activities supporting and campaigning for and with asylum seekers and refugees. Our main activities during the year are participating in COCOMAD, Write for Rights and an annual celebration concert on the occasion of the UN Human Rights day, organised with Freedom from Torture. Our concert regularly attracts around 200 spectators.
