Anti-Racism Network

We are the Amnesty International UK Anti-Racism Network, a volunteer-led group of activists taking action against racism and injustice in the UK and around the world.

Launched in September 2022, we came together to challenge the systems and structures that uphold racism because racial justice is human justice. We work to expose, resist, and dismantle the racism that shapes policies, institutions, and global power structures.

What we do

We create campaigns, resources, and actions that help people across the Amnesty movement and beyond to stand up against racism in all its forms.

Together, we plan, strategise, and take action to challenge the roots of injustice. We’re not just responding to racism, we’re working to build something better: communities grounded in equality, dignity, and collective power.

Our campaigns

Our first major campaign focused on scrapping the Prevent Duty, calling out how this policy fuels discrimination and targets communities under the guise of “security.”

Our newest campaign, Drained, takes aim at how multinational corporations exploit people, labour, and resources in the Global South. This has consequently deepened poverty, driven environmental harm, and widened inequality.

Add your name to our current petition demanding that the UK Government revise the current ‘right to repair’ regulations to include smartphones, cordless phones, tablets, and laptops.

We’re also in the process of building our next campaign, taking on the rise of anti-rights actors and the surge in racist incidents across the UK. Watch this space!

Working together

Collaboration is at the heart of how we work. We’ve loved joining forces with other activist groups, grassroots organisers, and communities pushing for justice and we’re always looking for more ways to connect and take action together.

Anti-racism isn’t a side campaign. It’s a movement.
