Amnesty South West England Network
Welcome to the South West England Network page.
The Amnesty South West England Network is a new initiative that aims to enhance human rights activism and awareness across South West England, covering both national and global issues. Operating mainly online, we enable potential activists to meet, listen to speakers, plan regional campaigns and location-specific actions.
As well as existing Amnesty members, we aim to attract people who are not members but are interested in human rights issues and/or do not have the time or inclination to join traditional local groups or attend meetings.

When we meet
We don't have in-person meetings and operate mainly online.
Followers of the Network receive a regular newsletter listing activities that they might like to support, such as online speaker events, street stalls, campaigns, protests, and fundraisers.
A core team coordinates activities. Local groups contribute information about their activities, and some individuals take on roles in their own areas, such as linking with the local MP or local organisations.
