You can go your own way
Find out how to fundraise for Amnesty International UK by taking on your own challenge...
Take on your own trekking challenge for human rights
Supporting our human rights work can be really simple - you don’t have to sign up to an organised event! If you prefer, you can go your own way and create your own challenge in your local area, tailored to you and with your own fundraising goal. There's 3 steps to getting started:
- Decide a route: covering a distance of your choice.
- Set a date: go solo or get friends and family to join you.
- Start fundraising: set up a JustGiving page for Amnesty. Personalise it with a photo, information about your event and why you're doing it. Share with your networks - every donation will come directly to Amnesty International UK and helps fight for human rights.
If you decide to go take on your own challenge for Amnesty International UK, our Community Fundraising Team will support you every step of the way. Fill out the form and tell us about your event and any support you may need:

Great views and good company
A local group in Exeter decided to take advantage of their beautiful local area and walked 6.5 miles, raising £800 - Excellent work team!
“We walked up and down the winding lanes and hedgerows of glorious East Budleigh on our 6.5 mile sponsored walk for Amnesty International UK. Great company, good conversation... we also wrote a few cards of solidarity for those who would of loved to of been with us out in the countryside but who can't as they are detained... such as those by the Turkiye government the Gezi7 #FreeTheGezi7.”
