The Big Half Marathon

Run the Big Half for human rights and experience the iconic sights of London as you do! The Big Half celebrates London's diversity and is all about inclusion, run as part of Team Amnesty to support our Racial Justice work.
The route takes you past Tower Bridge to the legendary Cutty Sark in Greenwich. You'll run part of the famous London Marathon route on fully closed roads and enjoy the vibrant festival atmosphere at the finish line.

If you've already acquired a place in the event, join our team as an Own Place runner. There's no minimum fundraising target, just raise as much as you can.

New to running?
If you are considering joining Team Amnesty, but haven't done a half marathon before, we will support you every step of the way. Our professional running coach will write a personal training plan for you, and can adapt this for you throughout your training, as we know your goals and situation can change during training. Check out our training hub which is full of tips and tricks to get you over the finish line, as well as some pre-made training plans! The Big Half is a beginner friendly half marathon with a flat central-London route.

As a member of our team you’ll receive:

- An inspiring fundraising pack filled with advice and ideas
- Dedicated staff member with regular email updates on the event and human rights
