Overview
This online human rights hustings, hosted by Amnesty International and the Human Rights Consortium Scotland, brings together candidates ahead of the Scottish Parliamentary election on 7 May to discuss their priorities for advancing human rights in Scotland.
The event will provide an opportunity to explore key issues, including the incorporation of international human rights standards, tackling poverty and inequality, protecting civil liberties, and ensuring accountability in public services.
Candidates will set out their commitments and respond to questions from civil society and the public, helping voters understand how different parties plan to uphold and strengthen human rights in the next parliamentary session.
