We are looking for committed individuals who have a passion for justice and equality and are open to learning new skills and leading our anti-racism social media presence. We ask that applicants have prior experience in planning and delivering social media campaigns. The social media lead would be responsible for proactively planning our social media strategy and content, helping to deliver that content (along with our other social media lead). The appointed candidate would also be the “Community Link” on the Anti-Racism Network page of the Amnesty UK Community Platform, responsible for some light touch moderation.

Committee members work alongside Amnesty UK staff and our other activists, as well as external organisations and groups, to run campaigns, put on events and organise on a range of human rights issues both globally and domestically.

We are action-oriented doers! We are currently running one major campaign, “Drained”, about ending UK complicity in human rights abuses associated with mineral extraction in the DRC. We are also planning to launch a second campaign on tackling the far right in the UK.

Does this sound up your street? Apply to join the committee now!

We're excited to hear from you – please submit your application here, through our online form.
