Sutton High School for Girls - Letter-writing Stall - 15 June 2023

Ayako, Graham, Mark and Richard ran a Sutton Amnesty letter-writing stall at Sutton High School for Girl's 'Suttonbury Rights Festival'. We had a lot of interest from pupils and staff, signing up several new members. A number of them signed letters on behalf of our two Prisoners of Conscience (Alaa Abdel Fattah and Dr Al-Roken), as well as Alexsandra Skochilenko (imprisoned in Russia for protesting about the invasion of Ukraine), and in support of schoolgirls believed to have been poisoned in Iran. 33 letters were written in total.

This is the second year we have visited Sutton High School for Girls and we would like to thank the school for their support and hospitality.
