As a new Senedd session begins, we have a real opportunity to build the fairer society that people across the country demanded and voted for.

Cymraeg

For too many people in Wales, our right to everyday essentials like healthcare, housing and an adequate standard of living are still out of reach. For many, the daily reality is one of insecurity, a struggle to make ends meet, and difficulty in holding those with power accountable for failing to deliver their rights. That is an injustice.

But we have a chance to change this.

By prioritising a Human Rights Bill for Wales, the First Minister would not only be leading on transformational change. He will also be making a statement about the kind of Wales he wants to build.

A Wales that rises above the divisive anti-rights voices that are growing louder around the world and at home. A Wales where human rights are not just promises but guarantees in law – valued, protected and strengthened. A Wales where all our rights are secured. A Wales for all.

Email the First Minister now to demand that he put human rights first by prioritising a Human Rights Bill without delay.
