Give in memory

A badly drawn bird flies in a pink sky

Giving in memory is a wonderful way to remember a loved one and help us change the future.

Many supporters choose to make or request a gift in memory in lieu of giving flowers at a funeral.

You can make your donation by post, online or over the phone. If you are organising a funeral for a loved one, we can provide Gift Aid donation envelopes for you to distribute at the ceremony.

Make a donation

  • Donate online
  • To donate by post, download our donation form (PDF)
  • To donate over the phone, please contact our Supporter Care Team

As well as sending you a letter to gratefully acknowledge your in memory donation, we also send a personal letter of sympathy to the next of kin, to let them know that we have received a donation from you. Please be assured that amounts of individual gifts are never disclosed.

Remembrance wall

You can also leave a message in tribute to the deceased, which we will feature on our remembrance wall. If you would like to submit a message for our remembrance wall, please contact our supporter care team via sct@amnesty.org.uk

Other ways to give in memory

Create a tribute page: An alternative way to give in memory is to create a personalised webpage on Justgiving.com, where everyone can donate and leave individual messages. Simply select Amnesty as your chosen charity. Create an In Memory page on JustGiving.
