Thursday 11 June: Online Meeting about Egypt with Debora Singer

On Thursday 11th June from 7 pm, we will be having our first online group meeting via Jitsi and organised jointly with Kingston Group.

Our speaker will be Debora Singer, Amnesty UK's Country Coordinator for Egypt. Debora will be talking to us about Amnesty’s Egypt campaign, including the current crackdown on freedom of expression in Egypt and, in particular about 26 year old researcher, Ibrahim Ezz El-Din, who was forcibly disappeared for 167 days and is currently in prison.

The meeting will last from 7 pm to 7.45 pm. Below is a PDF of a one-page banner saying Free Ibrahim. If you are planning to take part in the meeting with an optional photo action at the end, please print it out and have it ready for the video call.

To request the call details and ask any questions in advance, please email alexis.hatto@amnesty.org.uk before 5 pm on Thursday 11th June.

Please note the related links and downloads below. The campaigns for Ibrahim and Aser are still active. More details at amnesty.org.
