Ziya in Tiverton

Amnesty International Mid Devon Group members met up with Ziya Kocabiyik in Tiverton, on beautiful sunny Saturday. Ziya is cycling from Lands End to John O'Groats raising awareness of the human rights clampdown in Turkey, and raising funds for Amnesty International. Coffee and cake from Elsie May's was enjoyed by all, and Ziya eventually set off again for Bath (there were mechanical problems on the way, but eventually Bath was reached by 9pm). Did you know that 668 babies are in prison in Turkey, as part of detentions violating human rights?
