At Amnesty International we know that the more people we reach, the greater our impact. So we’re always looking for innovative ways to engage new and existing supporters in our campaigning, activism and fundraising. We are seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist (Acquisition) to join our Digital Engagement Team and deliver strategies that will increase supporter engagement with Amnesty International UK.
About the role
Working with the Senior Digital Marketing Specialist (Acquisition) you’ll deliver our non-financial supporter acquisition programme, as well as support the acquisition of financial supporters, with a focus on paid digital marketing. Using your experience and knowledge of digital marketing, you will help develop and deliver inspiring, engaging and accessible initiatives and journeys to deliver communications that attract supporters and in turn help Amnesty International UK grow. You will also work with colleagues in the fundraising department to help ensure our potential financial supporters receive timely, relevant and engaging communications.
You will have experience of developing compelling paid advertising or media content to attract, engage and deepen relationships with new audiences. You will have significant knowledge of industry trends and standards in digital marketing, drawing on this to ensure that Amnesty is at the forefront of digital communications and engagement. Using these skills and knowledge you will also be able to work with a wide range of people and provide internal consultancy to our Campaigning, Activism and Fundraising colleagues.
Experience of building, optimising and delivering campaigns in line with organisational objectives is crucial. You will be skilled ensuring campaigns are consistently monitored and evaluated, communicating results and outcomes with key stakeholders throughout. Along with knowledge of customer segmentation, you’ll need strong content editing skills and the ability to produce excellent copy. Great analytical skills and the ability to produce compelling reviews/reports on effectiveness of digital communications and campaigns are just as important.
Our aim is simple: an end to human rights abuses. Independent, international and influential, we campaign for justice, fairness, freedom and truth wherever they are denied. Already our network of over seven million people is making a difference in almost every country in the world. Whether we are applying pressure through powerful research or direct lobbying, mass demonstrations or online campaigning, we are all inspired by hope for a better world. One where human rights are enjoyed by all.
