Join Amnesty International UK and a team raising significant funds for our life-changing work. As a member of Amnesty International UK’s Community Fundraising Team, you’ll play a key part in delivering AIUK’s fundraising strategy and targets for growth. And when you do, you’ll help create a safer, more just world.

About the role

As Community Fundraising Coordinator working alongside the Senior Community Fundraising Coordinator you will help meet the team’s income targets by managing and developing fundraising with individuals through our exciting portfolio.

You’ll be working on our sponsored events programme as well as supporting our general community fundraisers and supporting other initiatives across the team. You will also play a key role in managing the team’s administrative systems and work with our small team of office-based volunteers, whilst building relationships with other Amnesty teams and external organisations.

About you

With previous experience of working within a sponsored events or community fundraising setting, you’ll have excellent communication skills and be able to work unsupervised, using your own initiative. You will play a key role in researching and developing new income streams, be committed to Amnesty’s aims and objectives and be a passionate member of our Fundraising Department.

About us

Our aim is simple: an end to human rights abuses. Independent, international and influential, we campaign for justice, fairness, freedom and truth wherever they are denied. Already our network of over seven million people is making a difference in almost every country in the world. Whether we are applying pressure through powerful research or direct lobbying, mass demonstrations or online campaigning, we are all inspired by hope for a better world. One where human rights are enjoyed by all.
