Meetings and Events 2019/2020

We meet regularly once a months every third Tuesday of every month at 6.45 pm in St Peter's Church, 119 Eaton Square, SW1W 9AL.  Apart from our regular monthly group meetings, we organise fundraising events such as sponsored walks, carol singing, etc. We also invite speakers from AIUK offices or external speakers to train our members on campaigning skills or to speak about specific topics.

• 17 September 2019: Monthly Meeting

• 21 September 2019 (Saturday): Sponsored Walk "More in Common" (get in contact for further details)

• 15 October 2019: Monthly Meeting with Paul Dawson, AI UK, Country Coordinator, Middle East & Gulf Team as guest speaker about Saudi Arabia

• 19 October 2019 (Saturday):  Day of Action for Ahmed Mansoor (more details will follow) 

• 19 November 2019: Monthly Meeting 

• 3 December 2019 (Tuesday): Carol Singing at Pimlico Tube Station (more details will follow)

• 17 December 2019: Monthly Meeting. We will join the Amnesty Write 4 Rights campaign and write letters to prisoners of conscience all over the world. Please come and join us.

• 21 January 2020: Annual General Meeting 

• 18 February 2020: Monthly Meeting with Sunit Bagree, Action for Southern Africa (ACTSA) as guest speaker about Southern Africa

• Wednesday (!) 25 March 2020: 6:15 pm meeting at the UAE Embassy, 1-2 Grosvenor Cres, Belgravia, London SW1X 7EE for a protest to mark the third anniversary of Ahmed Mansoor's arrest, afterwards (start between 7 pm and 7:30 pm) Monthly Meeting (CANCELLED)
