Embassy Crawl 2015

Save the date! Saturday 26 September is the annual Embassy Crawl hosted by Wandsworth Amnesty International. We meet at All Soul's Church W1B 3DA at 11am. Hope to see you there.

It was a huge success last year and we hope that this year will be the same. The theme is MY BODY, MY RIGHTS. We will be visiting embassies in central London to protest against countries which practice policies that interfere with citizens' rights to make decisions about their bodies.

"A woman is refused contraception because she doesn't have her husband’s permission. A teenager is denied a life-saving termination because abortion is illegal in her country. A man is harassed by police because he’s gay." - Amnesty International website

Join us to take a stand for human rights. See the attached flyer for more information.

UPDATE:
Thanks to everyone who joined our Embassy Crawl, whether in person or following on social media. We tackled important issues surrounding the My Body My Rights campaign, and asked ambassadors of embassies we visited to stand with us demanding change in their countries so that more people can enjoy the fundamental human rights we so strongly believe in.
