About this group
The Swansea group works with the community to raise awerness and support for Amnesty International's Campaigns and particularly Prisoners of Conscience.
We are a group of people who stand up for human rights. Amnesty's purpose is to protect individuals wherever justice, fairness, freedom and truth are denied. In Swansea, our activism takes many forms - hosting public stalls and speaker events, working with schools, colleges and universities, collaborating with arts organisations and, of course, writing letters for the release of prisoners of conscience. Join us - you really can make a difference.
Meetings
The Group meets regularly at 7:30pm on the second Monday of every month September through to July. The venue is the Swansea Civic Centre, Oystermouth Road in one of the Committee/Meeting rooms which will be allocated by the Receptionist.
