Discussion on the "Justice and Security Bill" with Karen Buck MP in the Houses of Parliament
We will discuss the Justice and Security Bill with our local MP, Karen Buck, and other speakers. The event is organised by our group but is open to the public, particularly to Amnesty supporters. It should be a very interesting evening.
The full programme of the event is:
- Alice Wyss - UK Researcher at the Amnesty International Secretariat, presents a brief overview on the Justice and Security Bill and Amnesty's views on it,
- Karen Buck MP (Labour, Westminster North) and
- Andrew Slaughter MP (Labour, Hammersmith) present their views on the Bill.
- Audience Q&A
The evening will be chaired by the writer David Benedictus.
It will take place on the 5th of March, in the Thatcher Room, at Portcullis House, Bridge Str, Westminster, at 18:30-20:30. You will need to go through security so please arrive a little early.
