We are ordinary people from the South Devon area who support Amnesty International by working as volunteers to raise money and awareness of human rights abuses around the world.
We are based in Totnes and one of almost 300 local groups that operate in the UK. We contribute to Amnesty International's work to defend human rights around the world.
The South Devon Amnesty Group has been running for over 30 years. It is an active and enthusiastic core of members with a wide age range from students to older people. We welcome new members who live in South Devon. We focus on campaigning, fund raising and awareness raising including giving educational talks.
We meet at 7pm on the second Tuesday of each month at
the Quaker Meeting House, 3 Ticklemore Street, Totnes
You will be most welcome!
