Official Opening of the Declaration of Human Rights Public Artwork in Twickenham

Welcome to the Richmond and Twickenham Group of Amnesty International. We are one of almost 300 local groups which operate in the UK and contribute to Amnesty International's work to defend human rights around the world.

We are a group of local people who hold monthly meetings, raise awareness locally about human rights, organise events in our area, fundraise and campaign with letter writing and lobbying.

Our meetings are held from 8pm-9.30pm on the second Thursday of each month (except August) at The Twickenham Club, 7 Church Street, Twickenham TW1 3NJ

At our meetings we frequently hear from guest speakers, plan forthcoming local events, learn about and discuss current Amnesty campaigns and hold card and letter writing sessions. If you are interested in joining the Richmond and Twickenham branch of Amnesty International, please come along to our next meeting and get to know some of our members, including:

  • Secretary:  Wendy Hatto
  • Chair: Tessa Hosking
  • Deputy: Natalie Willoughby
  • Treasurer: Catherine Dolan
  • Speakers Organiser: Nancy El Shatoury
