About the speaker:
Adam Dickson currently resides in Birmingham, where he is training to become a priest in the Church of England. His involvement in issues of peace and justice has included roles with campaign groups such as SPEAK Network and Church Action on Poverty. He previously lived in inner-city Manchester where he worked and volunteered in various community projects serving asylum seekers, the homeless, and people suffering long-term unemployment.
Adam will be speaking about his experiences last year with Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme in Palestine-Israel (EAPPI). For this, he spent three months living in West Bank as a human rights observer, supporting Palestinian communities and Israeli peace activists in their efforts to advocate for an end to the occupation and the establishment of a sustainable peace between all peoples in the region.
