MINUTES FOR ORDINARY MEETING JANUARY 14TH 2013

Correspondence: Rosemary had received a response letter from Mark Reckless re The Justice Bill basically stating he has not decided which way to vote – she will send this to the activism team.
Reminder that the South East Amnesty Conference is on February 23rd in Canturbury (programme attached) Mary and Rosemary will attend so far – please let me know if you are interested in attending re lunch numbers.
Brief Discussion on AIUK EGM and resolutions passed and not passed - info on website plus Rosemary has paper copies.
Treasurers Report and Fund Raising
£326 left after donation to AIUK4 of £100 as agreed at December meeting
February 3rd fundraising will take place at Morrison’s in Strood - members of the group agreed to shake a tin - other venues planned

Planning for AGM 2013 A very provisional date of 9th Sept (this may change) - ideas for speakers 1/ To have a training session on Housing (links with the Poverty & Human Rights Campaign) 2/ Ted suggested a contact to talk about Mining (more details later)
